Know your rights (Learning seminar for support community workers and disability support providers – Banora Point)

Navigating consumer law, respect at work and the criminal justice system for people with disabilities.

Learn from NSW Fair Trading about how Australian Consumer Law applies to NDIS and My Aged Care purchases, understand your rights regarding goods and services, and gain practical tips for resolving complaints.

The Justice Advocacy Service will explore support for people with cognitive impairments in the criminal justice system, including rights in custody, support at court, and navigating legal processes.

Legal Aid NSW will guide community workers and disability support providers in understanding workplace rights, specifically, around discrimination and sexual harassment.
