Solutions instead of suspensions: what’s already working in Qld schools?

2025 has been a huge year for the Right to Learn campaign, encouraging Queensland schools to use suspension as a last resort and focus on safety, accessibility, and inclusion for all students.

Disabled students account for 64% of suspensions, yet they only making up 25% of the student population in Queensland. We want these experiences to change for students, families, and educators. We want a meaningful partnership that plans for greater engagement and true inclusion in all schools.

Join our virtual town hall to hear from Queensland educators who are doing things differently and hear from the families who are seeing the difference.

This one-hour session will feature perspectives from educators and parents who have successfully navigated these challenges.

We will also be sharing links to other organisations and resources that can support students in their schooling at the end of the session.
