Seated & Wheelchair Authentic Yang Style Tai Chi
All ages and abilities, Carers and Support Workers are welcome to join us in celebrating IDPwD 2025, with an enjoyable and informative session of Seated & Wheelchair Authentic Yang Style Tai Chi.
This event is hosted by Seven Stars Tai Chi Association of Australia Incorporated, a registered not-for-profit Association with current public liability insurance. Our experienced and qualified Instructor (Chris) has been teaching the seated and wheelchair version of Authentic Yang Style Tai Chi at this venue for several years now. Chairs to sit on are supplied and comfortable loose-fitting clothing (to allow body movement) is recommended for this activity. Tai Chi (taiji) is a low impact gentle form of exercise that promotes long life through improved health and well-being. Taijiquan originates from China and became inscribed by UNESCO in 2020 on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
