IDPWD – DST – Fun day

Join us at Down South Therapy, 8 Edison Circuit, East Rockingham, for a free community celebration of International Day of People with Disability!

This inclusive afternoon is designed for people of all ages and abilities to come together for fun, creativity, and connection. Explore a range of interactive and hands-on activities hosted by our Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Physiotherapists. From sensory play and art stations to our exciting reptile encounter, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The event aims to celebrate diversity, promote inclusion, and build community connections through shared experiences. Families, friends, and community members are all encouraged to attend and enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere filled with joy and learning.

Accessibility details

Our venue offers ramps, flat pathways, and step-free access throughout. Accessible toilets and designated parking bays for permit holders are available, with additional verge parking nearby. A sensory-friendly Chill Zone provides a quiet retreat, and AAC boards support communication at all activities. Assistance animals are welcome, and our therapy team will be available to offer support if needed.
