International Day of People with Disability

The City of Greater Geelong invites you to celebrate International Day of People with Disability on Tuesday 3 December 2024 at 5:30pm at The Geelong Library and Heritage Centre. The event will celebrate nominees and announce winners of the 2024 Geelong Awards for People with Disability, and officially launch the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2024-28.

Our evening event follows the Geelong Disability Inclusion Fair, being held between 2:30pm – 5:30pm at the same venue, showcasing a variety of services and support organisations dedicated to enhancing the lives of people living with disability in the Geelong region. Come along to find out about existing services; services you may not have considered, or alternative services that can help you expand your opportunities. Disability service organisations will be on hand to chat to you about what they do, and how they can help. In addition, there will be workshops and talks throughout the afternoon.
