Disability Awareness Day

Join us for morning tea and short films to celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD).

This annual day promotes community awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.

We’ll watch a selection of short films from the Focus on Ability Film Festival.
These fantastic films explore the lives and experiences of people with disability.

Also hear from guest speaker Abigale Huang, a disability caseworker at CASS.

She will talk about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and services available for people with disability.

This will be translated into Mandarin.

Morning tea provided by Civic Kitchen & Catering.

This social enterprise provides employment and training to people with disability.

Everyone is welcome at this free event.
