Ted’s Wheelie Challenge

Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) is supporting the 2023 Ted’s Wheelie Challenge (Deception Bay Mobility Scooter Convoy) that is taking place this year on December 3rd to celebrate International Day of People with Disability.

The convoy is open to all Mobility Scooters and Electric Wheelchair users and will gather at the Deception Bay PCYC at 9am, for a 10am start before travelling along the accessible paths of the esplanade and ending at the BBQ area opposite the Deception Bay Library where there will be a FREE community BBQ.

Each participant goes into the draw to win a Pride Go-Go LX Mobility Scooter valued at over $2,400.00.

Feel free to dress up your ride to add to the fun of the day.

If you live with disability, a Mobility Scooter could allow you the freedom to increase your independence and quality of life as well as access employment, essential services, recreation, and to maintain social networks.
