Breaking Silence and Barriers Around Disability in Pakistani Community
This International Day of People with Disability Sunday 3rd December 2023, Northcott EC is collaborating with Communities in Fellowship Together – CIFT in bringing together the much-needed conversation around disability and developmental delays in Pakistani Community living in Sydney.
This will be a first visible effort to open up conversation around disability in Pakistani Community. We feel it is of vital importance to help break down the silence and barriers around disability and promote inclusion.
The funds collected through the event tickets will be utilized for
- funding the event and ensuring maximum number of people with disabilities and their families can attend the event for minimal charges.
- starting a Supported playgroup for multicultural children and caters group for Pakistani carers
