AEVA: An electric future for everyone!

To celebrate the IDPWD, the Australian Electric Vehicle Association invites you to join us to talk about the electric future for everyone and enjoy a passenger ride in one of several EVs on show.

AEVA is working with local, state and Federal governments (including the ACT Government) to ensure that Australia’s EV future is accessible to everyone. If you have a disability, are a carer, family member or friend, come along with your questions and:

• learn about accessibility requirements for public EV chargers and the ACT Government Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Operational Policy
• listen to acoustic warnings given by approaching EVs
• talk to the owner of an EV fitted with hand controls which will be on display
• understand some of the challenges in current EV design and vehicle availability to suit all drivers and passengers, including people with disabilities
• help AEVA understand your EV needs and concerns to help shape government and industry policy.
