International Day of People with Disability: Family Cultural and Nature Walk
Enjoy a guided experience with Nature Play SA and Uncle Tamaru to celebrate International Day of People with Disability and the Onkaparinga River National and Recreation Parks as NPWS Park of the Month. We will explore the plants and animals that call the park home and its cultural significance to the Kaurna people. From herons and egrets to frogs and water skinks – there are many things to discover!
The trails are accessible to wheelchair users and promises to be interesting and story-filled experience.

Accessibility details
This walk will include some of the Wetlands Loop Trail. The trail is graded as a class two trail. This 3km trail is flat and the trail surface is a mixture of boardwalk and some gravel paths. An accessible toilet and carpark is located at the Perrys Bend Reserve (council owned). Car parking is available in the reserve carpark and along River Road.
