International Day of People with a Disability – Broken Hill

Our Broken Hill event is it all about EMPOWERMENT! 💪🌟

Main Event Focus: Encourage and accept people living with a disability and what they can do, not what providers or services can do for them. ✨👏
Kicking off the day with a 🌈WHEELIE FUN COLOUR MOVEMENT (aka accessible “colour run”) 🌈🚴‍♀️🛴 So bring your wheels, mobility aids, scooters or even your assistance animal as we aim to cater for all accessibility provisions. ♿🐾

If movement isn’t your thing don’t worry we have an ALL-ABILITIES INCLUSIVE MARKET 🧸🎨🛍️Where people with disabilities can showcase their talents and/or sell their creations. Services and Providers are able to support their participants OR there are opportunities to independently have your own stall showcasing your talent!! 🎪🧑‍🎨

🌞After some fun in the sun, The Y Broken Hill Regional Aquatic Centre will be offering A FREE SWIM at the pool!! 🏊‍♂️

Please note: free entry for entrants of the wheelie colour movement and/or inclusive markets plus a carer.
