Dismissed Tour – Auslan
Marking fifty years since the dismissal of the Whitlam Labor Government on 11 November 1975, and the subsequent election of the Fraser Coalition Government, this tour reflects on one of the most defining moments in Australia’s political history.
Join us as we trace the sequence of events leading to this pivotal day at Old Parliament House. Presented by a member of the Museum of Australian Democracy’s staff, with Auslan interpretation provided, this program is offered in recognition of the International Day of People with Disability.
