Empower Real: Storytellers Festival
We’re excited to announce the Empower Real: Storytellers Festival in celebration of International Day of People with Disability on Friday, November 29th at ECU Joondalup Campus.
This event has been founded and created by a dynamic team of people with disabilities to share the stories, passion, and creativity with their community!
Enjoy an evening of empowering voices and sharing stories by watching our competitions shortlisted photo stories and short films that highlight the theme of Access & Inclusion, as well as watching local performers including WA Deaf signing choir, Variety WA choir, Abdol ‘the Assassinator’ and Welcome to Country performed by Whadjuk Noongar men Jamie and Daru.
We highly recommend attending in person by purchasing a event night ticket (which includes light catering and non-alcoholic refreshments) to enjoy the amazing local craft and wares of stallholders and fantastic performances happening throughout the night.
Can’t make it in person? No worries! We’ll be livestreaming the event so you can join us from anywhere.
It’s going to be an unforgettable experience!
