Cuppa and Conversation
Every month the Mandurah Seniors Centre organises a fantastic series of different guest speakers including community service providers and local legends. It’s a great chance to listen to the services they provide, their stories, ask questions and connect with others.
In recognition of International Day of People with a Disability our December guest speaker is Jayne Parsons. Jayne is blind and a former NZ Paralympic Tandem Cyclist. Jayne lost her sight to domestic violence, and is an advocate for promoting an end to domestic violence abuse. She is passionate about breaking down barriers for people with disability and promoting inclusion for those who feel challenged by community involvement.
