My Sanity. Cycling Greatly – A chat with Cate Green and Michelle McAuley

Cate Green, is a woman seeking to live life to the max while facing the challenges of a chronic illness, M.S.
Join Cate, alongside Michelle McAuley, Community Engagement Coordinator at Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre for a wonderful afternoon of “Story Telling” from Cate about herself and her road through living with MS.
Cate will talk about her 387km cycle from the north of Vietnam to the south with a group to raise money for M.S. Australia. and her next challenge to conquer the Victorian High Country 7 Peaks.
“Being diagnosed with a chronic illness distils your priorities down to what is most important in your life, to what you love most. I figure I now have some responsibility to share the possibility of a ‘full life with a chronic illness’ with others. I have no expectation that everyone will take up cycling and lead a crazy life like mine, but if I can inspire you to find your own path of joy and fulfilment then I’d love you to come on this journey with me.” – Cate Green
