Inclusive Tennis Come and Try Day

To celebrate International Day of People with Disability, the City of South Perth along with the Manning Tennis Club will be hosting an inclusive tennis ‘come and try’ day on Wednesday 4 December 2019.

The event is open to the whole community and will provide opportunities for member of the community with or without a disability to have a go at wheelchair tennis, while showcasing the inclusiveness of the Manning Tennis Club. The event is free and wheelchairs are provided. It is hoped that after this event the Manning Tennis Club will become the pilot centre for both wheelchair tennis and tennis for people with disabilities in the southern metropolitan area of Perth.

At the conclusion of the activities, wheelchair tennis player Wayne Arnott, will talk about his experiences playing wheelchair tennis.
