The community of Wagga Wagga and surrounding towns will get together for a dance party to celebrate their abilities and achievements. The theme of this year’s party is Black and White. Attendees are invited to dress up to try to win one of a number of prizes for best costumes. The always popular dance party is expected to draw some 350 people.
Entry will only be with a ticket – $10 per person. This includes Disco Music, Lucky Door & Best Costumes prizes, BBQ & Drinks, Cakes, photo shoots.
The event has been auspiced and co-ordinated by the Regional Disability Advocacy Service (RDAS) supported by the Dance Party Steering committee which this year consists of representatives from Kurrajong; The Leisure Company; Intereach, CVGT, Northcott, Riverina Community College and Regional Disability Advocacy Service. On the night, however, people with a disability will run the the party; some of whom have been busy making decorations for the hall.
